Middle School CurriculumStudents in the middle school follow a rotating schedule and are taught by a team of five full-time teachers plus several part-time specialists. Their curriculum includes:
GRADE 6 English (spelling, vocabulary, grammar, literature, study skills, composition, keyboarding skills, public speaking) general science, math, world geography, Bible, computer skills, physical education, health, art, introduction to Spanish, and music. GRADE 7 English (grammar, vocabulary, literature, spelling, study skills, spelling, composition, word processing and public speaking), life science, math, world history, Bible, computer skills, physical education, Spanish, health, art, and music. GRADE 8 English (literature, spelling, grammar, public speaking, study skills, vocabulary, composition and word processing on the computer,) earth science, pre-algebra or algebra, American history, Bible, computer skills, physical education, health, Spanish, art, and music. |
