Discovery Center

The Discovery Program at Barrington Christian Academy is designed to help students who struggle academically due to mild/ moderate learning disabilities. Several types of services are available which are tailored to the individual student’s needs.  

  • Progress monitoring three times a year for all students in grades K – 5 using DIBELS (Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills)
  • Response to Intervention monitoring  for students not achieving benchmarks
  • Search & Teach testing for all kindergarten students
  • Educational evaluations
