Employee Handbook Acknowledgement (At-Will)

I acknowledge that I have received a copy of the Barrington Christian Academy Employee Handbook 2017-2018 edition.nnI understand that it contains important information on the personnel and benefits policies applicable to me and about my privileges and obligations as an employee. I will familiarize myself with the material in the employee handbook, and I understand that I am responsible for knowing and abiding by its contents.nnSince the information, policies, and benefits described here are subject to change, I acknowledge that revisions to the handbook may occur without prior notice. While the school strives to communicate such changes in a timely manner, I understand that revised information may supersede, modify, or eliminate existing policies before such notices are officially published.nnI acknowledge that this handbook a does not create a contract of employment between myself and the school, which can only occur in the form of a written document signed by the School Head (or his/her designee) and myself. I understand that my employment is “at-will” and that neither I nor Barrington Christian Academy is bound to continue the employment relationship if either chooses, at its will, to end the relationship at any time for any reason.nnI understand that I should consult with the business office manager regarding any questions not answered in the handbook. I acknowledge that I have read this Employee Acknowledgment Form and have received a copy of the employee handbook, which policies I will read and understand and by which I agree to comply.nnThis form must be signed and dated and returned to Barrington Christian Academy Business Office promptly upon receipt of the handbook and review of this form.
