Barrington Christian Academy has been empowering young leaders since 1979.  Located in scenic Barrington, Rhode Island, BCA is fifteen minutes from Brown University, and one hour from Harvard, MIT, and Tufts University.  Within reach are Boston, New York, and some of the most important natural and cultural resources in America. See our sample itinerary below (specific details subject to change).

WEEK 1: WELCOME TO AMERICA

  • Cultural orientation
  • Teambuilding and leadership development course
  • English intensive classes
  • Admissions visit to Brown University

WEEK 2: URBAN ADVENTURES

  • Visit Boston, one of America’s most historic and beautiful cities!
    • Tour the city by land and waterways on an amphibious vehicle.
    • Explore America’s revolutionary colonial past and taste classic American cuisine.
    • University admissions visit to Harvard, MIT, or Tufts University.
  • Visit New York, the quintessential American city! (Two days)
    • Explore some of the most famous landmarks in the world, such as the Statue of Liberty and Times Square
    • Enjoy world-famous shopping and dining
    • See a Broadway show
    • University admissions visit to NYU
  • Share all these experiences with your new American friends
  • Language and SAT/TOEFL classes

WEEK 3: OUTDOOR ADVENTURES

  • Enjoy a whale-watching cruise
  • Explore a marine wildlife refuge and play at a beautiful beach
  • Practice a new skill such as surfing or zip-lining with professional instructors
  • Share all these experiences with your new American friends
  • Language and SAT/TOEFL classes

WEEK 4: CULTURAL ADVENTURES

  • Attend a professional baseball game
  • Enjoy a concert and art exhibition
  • Explore an outdoor summer festival
  • Share all these experiences with your new American friends
  • Language classes, cultural debrief, and a fond farewell
sUMMER pROGRAM FEE

Total for 2018:  $8,000

Fee includes:

·      Full language program, including language and SAT/TOEFL classes

·      Medical insurance (through ISM)

·      Transportation on a luxury motorcoach with professional guides

·      Activities

·      Lunch

Additional fee for summer housing.
