Help Wanted for the BCA Musical!
Help is needed on ALL FRONTS as the Theatre Department prepares for the spring musical,
The Pajama Game
, to be performed on May 18
, and 20
at The Reynolds School in Bristol.
There will be two shows on Saturday the 20
Please consider how your gifts, talents or time could be a blessing and a support for this program.
The musical is a terrific opportunity for BCA to be visible in the community and represent the many strengths and riches BCA has to offer. We can’t do it without you!
Producer – help director with a variety of projects and tasks as they come along, a right-hand man (or woman!) to help free director up to….well direct. A few hours a week from now until the show.
Marketing Assistant – help hang posters….ideas on ways to get the word out…
– Are you good with a hammer or a paintbrush? A “constructive” way to deal with stress. 3-4 people to help us create, construct and paint sets.
Props Coordinator – help plan and find necessary props for the show. Craftiness a bonus!
Production Week Needs:
Stage Manager – someone who can be backstage all shows and tech run-throughs. Oversee scene changes and manage backstage. Bossiness a plus, sense of humor mandatory.
Stage Crew – 3-4 people to pick things up and put them down again. Backstage for all shows and tech run-through. Will be fed cookies in be-tween set changes.
Props Manager – oversee props and their users. OCD tendencies helpful. Backstage for all shows and dress rehearsal.
Ticket Table – 2 smiley people for each show to sell tickets beforehand. Free admission to show!
Ushers – 2-3 people for each show to dress nicely and hand out programs and assist with seating, etc. Free admission to show!
Snack/Concessions – 1-2 people to plan and/or sell snacks before the show and during intermission. Free admission.
