Mrs. Twitchell lives in a picturesque cottage on the water in Riverside, RI with her husband, Ken and two sons, Ethan and Peter; both boys attend Barrington Christian Academy. As far back as Mrs. Twitchell can remember, she always dreamed of being a teacher. Her dream came true in 2012 after receiving her bachelor’s degree in history and then her master’s degree in secondary education when she was blessed with a teaching position at Barrington Christian Academy. Currently, she is the high school history teacher, covering subjects such as Civics, U.S. History, World History, and Human Geography. In addition to teaching in the classroom, Mrs. Twitchell is the faculty advisor for Student Council and is also taking a group of Juniors and Seniors in the spring to serve on a missions trip to Catadupa, Jamaica. Along with being dedicated to giving her students the best education possible, it is her desire to connect with each student and for them to know they are loved, valued and special. It is her passion to help students to take ownership of their faith and to live a life that brings glory to God.
