MBA in Finance, Arizona State University
B.S. in Nonprofit Management, Arizona State University
Michelle and her family come from Green Bay, Wisconsin but grew up near Phoenix, Arizona in the town of Mesa. She attended and graduated Arizona State University where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nonprofit Management and also met her husband Mark. They spent two years in Phoenix before relocating to Washington D.C. where she worked for the Independent Sector Nonprofit as a Research Assistant and Special Assistant to the President. She returned to Phoenix and earned her Masters of Business Administration degree from Arizona State with a focus on Finance. Michelle served as the Manager and later Assistant Director for MBA Admissions at ASU, while also serving as Vice President of The Lodestar Foundation, a local non-profit organization. Michelle and her family moved to Barrington in 2012, where she started her own travel company (Rhode Island Travel) and worked as Senior Consultant for 501 Partners in Boston. Her children (Derek and Elizabeth) both attend Barrington Christian Academy.
Michelle is a problem-solver with a big heart who is always willing to help. She believes in the power of prayer, the value of truth, and the importance of family. She enjoys the four seasons (well, at least three of them) that New England offers, which is better than the two (hot and hotter) in Phoenix. She is a huge fan of Disneyland, Broadway plays, the band Matchbox 20, and anything starring Hugh Jackman. True to her Wisconsin roots, she loves watching football and rooting for Arizona State and the Green Bay Packers.
