Mr. Skazinski is a Michigan native who now lives in Warwick with his wife Jenn and their two boys Jaike and Lukas. He is very passionate about leading students and teachers in their growth as learners and creating a mentality that we are all lifelong learners. Mr. Skazinski is especially focused on technology education and guiding BCA students and teachers in technology integration and 21st-century skills, taking the ordinary and turning it into the extraordinary. Ever since his early years of life, Mr. Skazinski has always wanted to be a teacher and then eventually an elementary school principal. After graduating from Cornerstone University in 2004, Mr. Skazinski embarked on his first teaching job which took him across the country to Chandler, Arizona where he taught first grade at Jacobson Elementary School. After a few years of teaching in the desert (and getting married to a Rhode Islander), Mr. Skazinski made the trip back across the country and to Rhode Island.
In 2008, his teaching journey brought him here to BCA where he started as the first-grade teacher. He then continued to lead the high school as principal from 2016-2019. He was named Head of School in June of 2019. He is eager to lead the entire school and looks forward to his new role at BCA!
