Mrs. Mack lives in Bristol with her family.  She is married to James and has three daughters-Shelby, Phoebe, and Darby.  They also have three kitties—Midnight, Pearl, and Louie. She loves spending time laughing, sharing meals, and talking with her family.  She is also an avid reader.  She enjoys reading just about anywhere, but two favorite locations are at the beach on a summer day, and in bed each night.  Other activities that she relishes are cooking, baking, and sewing.  Exercising helps her stay focused and feel relaxed; she runs or swims almost daily.

Before coming to teach at BCA in 2008, Mrs. Mack taught at Johnson and Wales University, Moses Brown School, Saint Andrew’s School, and Albuquerque Academy.  She is passionate about the art of literature and how reading and writing can help us to discover who we are, what we believe, our place in the world and purpose in life.  A most rewarding experience in her life as a teacher is being part of a class where students exchange genuine ideas about what they’ve been reading as they make connections with the characters and events.
